FINDING US
Directions to Tennessee Pass
We're at the top of the Continental Divide on Highway 24, about 8 miles north of Leadville. GPS can be unreliable out here — please read before you drive.
Do not follow GPS routes onto County Road 19 or County Road 18.Those directions are incorrect and will get you lost. When in doubt, call us at (719) 486-8114.
From I-70 (Vail / Eagle direction)
Take exit 171 onto Highway 24 East. Continue approximately 29 miles to the top of Tennessee Pass. Turn left at the large Tennessee Pass Nordic Center / Ski Cooper entrance sign. Proceed up the access road — the Nordic Center will be on your right.
From Leadville / the south
Travel north on Highway 24 approximately 8–9 miles to the top of Tennessee Pass. Turn right at the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center / Ski Cooper entrance sign. Proceed up the access road — the Nordic Center will be on your right.
From Denver via I-70
Head west on I-70 approximately 80 miles. Take exit 195 onto CO-91 South toward Copper Mountain and Leadville. Continue 22 miles and turn right onto US-24 West just before entering Leadville. Proceed 8 miles to the top of Tennessee Pass and turn right at the entrance sign.
BEFORE YOU COME UP

We're at altitude.
Tennessee Pass sits at 10,424 feet. If guests are coming from lower elevations, a day to acclimate goes a long way — especially before a full event weekend.
The Cookhouse requires a short hike.
One mile through the trees — by ski or snowshoe in winter, on foot in summer. We provide gear. You just have to show up.
Cell service is limited on the property.
Plan vendor logistics in advance. We're well practiced at making it work.
